3 questions to Flames fans

Ok here it is:
If you look at the trade rumors section in the HF boards, you'll see that 2 radio station (CKAC (french) and Team 990) mention there was some rumors between the Mtl Canadiens and the Calgary Flames, the trades looks like this:

To Mtl:
Iginla + Gauthier

To Calgary
Zednik, Markov, Hossa and a pick

My first question is:
1. would you trade Iginla?
2. It was heard that Bob Gainey said to Flames GM (I think it's sutter) pick 3 of our guys, except Theo and Koivu, for a trades implying Gauthier and Iginla, who would you choose?
3. Have you heard anything about a trade between MTL and Calgary?

1. Not to Montreal unless we get Koivu
2. Zednik, Markov, Garon, not that I would do the trade...

I know, if you guys think that habs fans are always homer, you should see the media, every trade rumors I've heard are always favours MTl and the people that they hire have no credibility or professionnalism. As an example, if I watch an Habs game in french, Théo's always making incredible, wonderfull and miraculous saves and they always says: the Theo from 2 years is now back in the net!

anyway thanks for your opinion even if I found the value of the trade is there, IMO (I would hate to see Markov and Zednik traded)

i just don't see that trade that flames fans would be happy about. iginla is in the last year of his contract and the flames will be looking at a new lower salary for iginla with some kind of salary cap. zednik and markov won't sell tickets and make the flames any better. a deal around gauthier may be feasible but montreal seems to have enough d men.give me perezhogin for gauts and we'll kiss this baby on the forehead and say good night

If I were Darryl Sutter, I would attempt to sign IGINLA to a 4-year deal for about 22-25 million, and keep him. If IGINLA will not play in Calgary for cheaper than 7 million, I would trade him for the following:

1. Offensive defenseman - Markov
2. 2 quality forwards who can create plays and/or score goals -
Zednik - can score but is very soft and Darryl wouldn't like him
Hossa - how much offensive potential does he have?
Ryder - same as Hossa
Ward - same as Hossa
Ribiero - same as Hossa

From what I've seen:

Zed: he's not soft (compare to perreault or Audette), he has a good balance and can score but, he plays individually, have to lern to make passes

Hossa: Show some flashes, a lot of people are saying he's a natural center (even his brother) and that he's more of a playmaker then a shooter

Ryder: shot like hell, always shooting, got grit, isn't afraid to drive to the net, very impressive, might be interesting to put on a line with good linemates

Ward: major aspect of his game is grit and intensty, but sometimes, when there too much intensity, there's stupid penalty

Ribiero: Very very good hands, great playmaker, nice shot, his bigger problem are with size, too many times, you'll see him get toss around by bigger player, need to be stronger, not the most fastest player, amazing to look at!

Don't forget that players can be better when they are with different pairing guys (and they can be worse too)

Cmon gusy offering hossa (is he any better then saprykin???) , Zednik ,nice player to have , but he is 50pts guy and Markov ,talented kid but is he going to be better then Leopold??? is just a joke. If you want to get player like Iginla ,you would have to pay way more then this trio.
Personally I dont think that Sutter will move Iginla any time soon( maybe in future) ,unless the deal that he would get would make us way better team
Zednik ,Hossa and Markov for iginla and Gauthier is just brutal from CGY point of view
