There stats at this point mean nothing. Thornton had 7 points in 55 games his rookie year, I guess that means Boyes will double his caliber.

Agreed. And you also have to figure in the fact that up until this year, Perez never played a game in North America and the fact that he doesnt speak english.

Brad Boyes does not deserve to be mentioned in the same sentance as Alexander Perezhogin. One is an A prospect, one is a B- prospect.
