Do any of you guys think in 2 or 3 years this guy will be mentioned with the elite defensive forwards such as Madden, Walz, Lehtinen, Peca(jackass), ETC.?
To me he looks like one of those type of players already, and also I predict he's gonna be a major shorthanded goal scoring threat within the next couple years.

I don't think he'll be elite. At least not in 2-3 three years.
Perhaps later down the line. But once he gets experience, he's someone who seems to be able to play in any game situation. He has all the tools to be a successful and productive NHL'er. He's done nothing so far to show us otherwise. He just needs time and experience.
Can't wait to see how he turns out.

Agreed. I think he'll be an all around threat, but likely not elite anytime soon.
