Dylan Kost

I'd love to hear any information out there about '90-born Netherlands forward Dylan Kost. He did extremely well in Juniors last season with the Tigers, but only played 2 games this year. Is he injured? Playing in the minor hockey system? Thank you.

I'd love to hear any information out there about '90-born Netherlands forward Dylan Kost. He did extremely well in Juniors last season with the Tigers, but only played 2 games this year. Is he injured? Playing in the minor hockey system? Thank you.

Dylan Kost played the full season with the C-junior team of Tilburg. He led his team in scoring there with 36 goals and 22 assists in 18 games for 58 points (4th in the league).

The two games played with the B-juniors (top junior level so to say before the 'pro/semi-pro'level) were based on call-ups.

A brief overview of the Dutch league setup (requirements as of 05-06 season; shift one year for upcoming season):

Seniors: Born 1984 or later
A/B juniors: Born 1986-1989
C-juniors: born 1990-1991
D-juniors: born 1992-93
etc.

He is not an exceptional talent by my knowledge, and sure far too early to judge until he has cracked the first team (seniors).
