Scott Pellerin??Blueski 11-10-2003, 08:03 AM Can someone tell me when and why we signed Scott Pellerin? He is on the Icecats roster so I guess this is a question for 210. Are they that worried about the depth at forward at the NHL level? Or is he a depth fill to keep the Icecats roster full? Frenzy1 11-10-2003, 09:19 AM I believe he was signed to a try out contract w/ the 'Cats. I don't think the Blues are planning on using him this year. (We have a lot of grinders/Defensive Wingers already). 210 11-10-2003, 11:10 AM The IceCats were (and still are I think) under the veteran limit and when Pellerin became available Pleau contacted him right away and signed him to a PTO. Pellerin is not content to be an AHLer and is playing hard in hopes of getting an NHL deal. That kind of attitude if good for young players to see. I think this is a great signing for the Cats. | ||
