Yotes @ Ducks

For the Coyotes 3 of 4 points is great. It's the second best thing that could've happened. Goaltending kept them in the game and gave them a point. Nagy scores again. Gotta be happy with all that. Still right in the fight for eighth spot and they may have a star player in Nagy. Suchy and Hulse have been a good surprise. Kolanos looked awesome when he almost won it on wraparound. Now there is too much time until the next game. After Thursday against the Avs, though, the Coyotes play every 2nd or 3rd day thru until Xmas, and mostly on the road. This is where they need all that depth.

At this early point of the season I am more concerned with points than I am with standings. 3 out of 4 points this past weekend is great against the defending western conference champs in a home and home series.

In March as we're fighting for the last playoff spot and IF the ducks are one of the teams we're chasing, we'll look back at these 2 games as a lost opportunity to gain any ground on the ducks. 3 points would have been great IF the ducks had only gotten 1. unfortunately....
