For anyone who's confused.
malfeasance 07-31-2006, 12:34 PM Why sign him to such a big contract? :dunno:
WHY?? I'll tell you why:
Because those 6.4 points per game are scored at the 6.4 most critical times in every game. They are the 6.4 most staggeringly important points in the history of basketball and only a stone cold basketball genius like Isiah Thomas can see that. Hell, this contract is a friggin' bargain when you look at it.
Do the math: Take the career averages of the Knicks roster and add them up - better yet, I'll do it for you: 156.1 ppg
156 points per game!! No other team in the NBA can match that. Isiah Thomas is a genius. The Knicks will go undefeated next year.
:yo:

Vic Rattlehead* 08-01-2006, 07:03 PM What's even sadder is that the Wizards are considering matching the offer sheet.

No....just, no..........eww.
TorontoSports 08-02-2006, 09:50 PM The Knicks are such a joke that they have ZERO games on National tv this year... ZERO! Biggest market in the US has zero NBA games.
Jefferies is a decent defender but not worth that kind of money essentially he is being brought in to be a defensive stopper at the same position they took Balkman who was a reach in the first round with Isiah stating they took Balkman becuase he was defensive stopper :dunno: :biglaugh: . Knick fans were hazing him for passing on UConn's Marcus Williams and now they really have every right to

Even if the Knicks were on TV there, that still doesn't qualify as NBA basketball. New York would still be missing out. :biglaugh:
Ar-too 08-07-2006, 03:55 PM Washington apparently decided not to match. SHOCKER!
The Knicks are such a joke that they have ZERO games on National tv this year... ZERO! Biggest market in the US has zero NBA games.
I think the Nets are in the biggest market now. :sarcasm:
