Alright, *****es. Here it is.

Which TV show do you think has the coolest/most interesting opening? It can be a show that's still on the air or a past one, but try and keep it relatively recent.

I'm going to say Rescue Me for the current one. That song (at least the part they play) is awesome.

Another one that I liked that's no longer on the air is the Angel opening.

Oh...and I apologize for referring to you as *****es...that was just uncalled for.

Rescue Me was the first one I thought of, and Entourage would be the other.

Both of those are great.

The Worst was Dark Angel. The music was like noise. It was terrible.

Also good Smallville with the Save Me song. Not as good as it once was for me because I have seen every episode mostly twice but it is a great opening still.

Another one I didn't think of until now was Firefly...that song really mimics the tone of the series.

Agreed and the series creator Joss Wheden wrote the song!

I wasn't the biggest fan of the show but the music from LA Law was catchy.

Magnum PI was good too.

99.9% of the time I just fast forward through credit sequences(considering I only watch shows via DVD or DVR)...the lone exception is Futurama.

I love everything about the Futurama opening.

Of the ones on TV now, I'd pick House as the best. The graphics are cool and the Massive Attack song is good as well.

I also like the Prison Break theme despite it's briefness, and also the one for Veroica Mars.

fo sho,

the version of this song in the opening creds is sickness

"woke up this mornin', got yourself a gun"

yea...gets me hyped to watch an episode of the sopranos just thinking about it

I love the Simpsons spoof of it with Fat Tony.

Both "Drew Carey" show opens were magic. "5 O'Clock World" is a cool song, and they had the dancing going on.....cool!

And "Cleveland Rocks" was a fun way to open a show about Cleveland.

I really don't watch TV shows anymore. I watch stuff on Animal Planet or Spike TV or VH1 or USA, so I have no idea what most of the one listed sound like. And I don't care, really. Because I don't have any interest in the shows, that is. Not that the songs or opens would be bad, but I have read nothing that could entice me to watch "Lost" or "Firefly" or "24" or most of the rest of these.

Six Feet Under, hands down. That show's opening sequence was just brilliant.

The music, the visuals and how they relate to the show, etc.

Yes Drew Carey was truly awesome for it's openings. Wasn't there more than 2 though?

Yeah, someone else mentioned Six Feet Under before, and it is an excellent sequence.

Very appropriate intro to the show.

Yes, I'm fuzzy on the specifics, but in the beginning of the series they used to play "Moon Over Parma."

IMO, Cleveland Rocks was his best opening. Very catchy, and helluva lotta fun.

I remember the Miami Vice opening sequence being ahead of it's time.

Great mix of visuals and music definitely fit the music video style of Michael Mann.

What's Harold Faltermayer got to do with Miami Vice? Jan Hammer did the theme and some songs (Crockett's Theme).
