Funny we're last in payroll and last in the conference. hipcheck85 11-13-2003, 04:56 AM I agree it's managements fault including the owner. Funny we're last in payroll and last in the conference. I like the guy who wants the Knights back. I think the responses are what you would get from 90% of the people in Nashville. I guess we( as hockey fans) will be forced to watch a team with a puny payroll try to OVERacheive and put together a winning streak to increase attendance. I'm sick of this...I'm not following this team anymore....they suck...... I'LL SEE YA AT THE GAME TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Olaf 11-13-2003, 05:13 AM You know it is interesting.....one person mentioned the "Suck" chant during Preds games. I am not sure if any of you are 303 enthusiasts but it does raise the point. I took two business associates to the Blackhawks game last Friday.......one of which was from New York and a real hockey fan. The other had never seen hockey before and was asking loads of questions about rules, plays ...etc. Neither of these men had ever been to a Predators game before and both liked the facility. One thing that got a comment out of both of them was the "suck" chant...... they were surprised and mentioned how "classy" that was. Funny thing was the local guy who hadn't been to a game quipped after the pa announcer said "We ARE ON the POWER PLAY"....."yeh, and we still suck". Unfortunatley it was a flat effort by the Preds, but both enojoyed the game and they have a new fan because of the game...not so much the Preds...and despite the suck chants. I will be taking another person tonight to their first hockey game. Hopefully a new fan for life. darth5 11-13-2003, 06:55 AM recently I have encouraged several folks to go who haven't been for a while or ever. All have said they enjoyed it and plan to return. This team may be young and struggling with its identity, but they are more talented and fun to watch than any previous yrs team. Radulov for Czar* 11-13-2003, 09:24 AM If I could afford season tickets I'd have em :) Until then I'm stuck waiting for an invite to go with friends, since I'm a poor college student. triggrman 11-13-2003, 09:26 AM I haven't been to a game yet that there wasn't $10 tickets available. Olaf 11-13-2003, 10:24 AM I haven't been to a game yet that there wasn't $10 tickets available. I will paying $8 per ticket tonight with the Tennessean coupon. Radulov for Czar* 11-13-2003, 10:30 AM Enjoy the game, wish I could be there! gopreds98 11-13-2003, 11:04 AM I think it's a lot easier to get fans excited about the games this year (when we're playing up-tempo and physical). Personally, I'm having a lot more fun at the games this year than I have in a couple years. My overall feeling is that I don't think we're going to win many more games than we did last year....but they're a lot more entertaining to go to. People still aren't going to show if we don't win. gopreds98 11-13-2003, 11:09 AM People still aren't going to show if we don't win. Even last year though, when we were in the middle of that amazing winning streak, people weren't showing. OurGocIsAnAwesomeGoc 11-13-2003, 06:14 PM Even last year though, when we were in the middle of that amazing winning streak, people weren't showing. they weren't showing as much as they should, but attendance spiked up bigtime. we went from 10,000 a game to around 14,000 a game. if we had made the playoffs, i'm near willing to BET we would have been selling out...and into the beginning of this year. | ||
