The NTDP roster has not been finalized, Some players will be added after the 3 Nations Tournament. The final goalie spot has not been filled nor has an official announcement been made pertaining to any added players. Everything is heresay until an official roster has been posted.

Players have not been officially placed on the NTDP but you read alot about Grimshaw, Gaul, Maricic. Gaul and Grimshaw according to the USHR were added to the NTDP but are playing in the U-17 Tournament, So it goes to show that it is all heresay as of now. NTDP players are supposed to be ineligible. He was not at any Portland preseason tourneys as promised which would lead me to believe he is keeping his options open. He left Portland right after camp. He did not play any regular season games or playoff games. I would think Portland would get him to sign and at least play a game so his eligibilty is shot.

Any players who were late commits to the NTDP (after the U16 Festival) were allowed to play in the Three Nations Cup.

Cook, Gaul, Grimshaw and Lofquist are definitely on the NTDP team for the fall.

looks like california defenseman max nicastro is going to sign with the everett silvertips. he is on one of the us u-17 teams at the 3 nations.

his rights were traded to everett for a 3rd rounder, i would assume everett feels they have a very good chance of signing him if they went ahead and made the deal

I believe Nicastro's draft pick came from the special WHL draft held in May in Anaheim. All teams were allowed to increase their ppl to 51 if a kid was selected from this draft. Everett wouldn't be harmed that much if he did play in the USHL. Besides, Everett needs toughness so their skilled guys don't get abused like they did last season.

Max Nicastro was drafted in the Bantam Draft by the Prince Albert Raiders. Recently traded to the Silvertips. Look for him in Omaha this season.
