Buffalo87 08-10-2006, 11:22 PM Teenage drunk dude banned for life from Yankee stadium and could be heading to jail next week. Thoughts? I don't remember that....but that's crazy. Dumb choice, and he'll be paying for it. ATG 08-11-2006, 11:53 AM Happened last year he jumped from the upper level Enoch 08-11-2006, 12:00 PM I remember when he did it.... I can't believe he is getting hit this hard! Wow! I hope he isn't a Yankee fan! Still, he deserves to be hit hard because what he did was just flat out dumb. Tuggy 08-11-2006, 01:10 PM I remember that...it was funny. KesselBuiltMyHotrod 08-11-2006, 02:46 PM That's gotta be next to impossible to enforce. Unholy Diver 08-11-2006, 07:04 PM That's gotta be next to impossible to enforce. it wouldnt be easy but would he want to risk getting nailed with tresspassing just for going to a game? and I'm sure there are a lot of cameras that could pick him out KesselBuiltMyHotrod 08-11-2006, 07:30 PM Grow a beard, wear a hat, and wear sunglasses. 0% chance they catch you. NassauIsles82* 08-12-2006, 12:53 AM I have some friends from Westchester county that knew of him, i think he was from Armonk, New york. Supposedly, he was on Ecstasy and drunk, and wanted to see if the net would hold/catch him. :shakehead OurGocIsAnAwesomeGoc 08-12-2006, 12:57 AM I think that was during a Mets\Yankees game...because...well, why else would I be watching a Yankees game? NYYmt62 08-12-2006, 01:59 AM That was a crazy situation. Though it is funny because the net caught him- had it not he could have killed quite a few people. I am sure he is getting put in jail for endangering other peoples lives. Seems harsh, but maybe not that harsh when you think about the lives he put in danger. Teemu 08-12-2006, 02:13 AM I think that was during a Mets\Yankees game...because...well, why else would I be watching a Yankees game? Because the White Sox are awesome. BuppY 08-12-2006, 02:19 AM I remember this. Zetterberg4Captain* 08-12-2006, 04:07 AM He can still go to shea at least! Ducks_è_Halos 08-12-2006, 07:56 PM That was a crazy situation. Seems harsh, but maybe not that harsh when you think about the lives he put in danger. True. I was thinking it seems a bit harsh but at least they're taking it seriously. I thought that he had fallen, btw. It looked hillarious when it happened though. http://espn.starwave.com/media/mlb/2005/0809/photo/a_fan_195.jpg Bruinaholic 08-16-2006, 05:22 PM maybe hell find a loop hole in this punishment and try to attend games when they move to the New Yankee stadium in 2009:sarcasm: LeafsGalCass 08-16-2006, 05:35 PM Idiot maybe doesn't deserve this much but I guess he'll have to pay the consequences. It was flat-out dumb when he jumped. David Puddy 08-20-2006, 04:26 AM I hope he isn't a Yankee fan! Still, he deserves to be hit hard because what he did was just flat out dumb.I hope he is. he was on Ecstasy and drunk, and wanted to see if the net would hold/catch him. :shakeheadYup, that sounds like a Yankee fan to me. Maybe that was Becket's excuse too for his pitching performance Saturday. Biggsy 08-20-2006, 05:42 PM I can see been banned for a lil while but life that hurts thats pretty harsh IMO mug3n 08-21-2006, 08:51 PM it wouldnt be easy but would he want to risk getting nailed with tresspassing just for going to a game? and I'm sure there are a lot of cameras that could pick him out Even if there were 100 cameras at each game, video and still photo cameras (which I highly doubt, I'm only counting the media ones), there's no way they can pick 1 guy out of 50000. romba 08-21-2006, 09:02 PM Because the White Sox are awesome. This just in: The year is no longer 2005, but rather is 2006. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences this might cause to those living in the past. No, I mean the incident happened during a Yankees-White Sox game DeputyDan 08-22-2006, 06:15 PM The sentence and punishment is to stop the next guy from doing this - not for him. They are just making an example and they need to. zetterberg40 08-22-2006, 09:14 PM thats funny, let the guy age afew years, once 10 years rolls around as long as he never does anything stupid he'll be back you cant watch that every night | ||
