All right, the Tigers, Twins, and White Sux are all in contention to win the Central. Detriot has to face the Royals 6 times in the last 2 weeks of the season. Does anyone think they will blow it?

im just wondering but are you assuming that those six games are easy wins for detroit. Ask Boston fans about that.

They could blow it but i dont see it happening. im a twins fan.

No they won't blow it. They'll win the division, then get whipped by the AL Wild Card team (White Sox or Twins) or the A's.

I'm not confident that the Tigers are for real when it comes to playoff baseball. They can't beat the Yankees or the White Sox, the class of the league.

Definately pulling for the Twins. Santana is insane and Joe Mauer is just an incredible player. Hopefully they'll be able to get Liriano back sometime.

Jim Leyland is trying his best by batting Neifi Perez leadoff.

You just showed your how much you know about baseball. If they win the division, and the White Sox or Twins are the wild card team, they would not face them until the ALCS.

I think that 5.5 game (or whatever it is now) is a little too much for anyone to challenge, but its gonna be a bloodbath for that last spot in the AL Wildcard.

Tigers will hold on to the AL Central and I don't the White Sox will win the wild card, Twins have a really young team and their pitching, especially the guys they called up after liriano went down isn't at that good of a level

The Tigers come to the Bronx for a three game set starting tonight (if the weather clears up.) I'm bummed because I had tickets to friday's game but I'll be out of town.

Whoops, you're right, I forgot. Still, I'm not very confident in the Tigers, they seem to take a step backwards whenever they play the New Yorks/Minnesotas/White Sox/A's of the league.

He wasn't being serious, it was a weak jab at me. The fact is, the Yankees won't win the world series, and the tribe *****slapped the Yankees 19-1 in a marvelous come from behind effort.

Yes, they have struggled against the Yankees and White Sox, but how is being 10-5 against Minnesota and 5-4 against Oakland taking a step backwards against the Twin's and A's?

I don't think the Tigers will blow it. I think they will keep their lead in the Central and probably play the A's in the first round. As a Yanks fan, I am hoping the Twins take the Wild Card. But I think the White Sox are too strong for them. If the Yanks-White Sox play, it will be a great series to say the least. The AL is going to a gauntlet come October.
