Solid trade for the Red Sox in hindsight...Theo has an eye for talent.

That might work if the GM's were reveresed. ;)

there probably weren't even video cameras there, just cameras for newspapers.

although i heard that everyone in attendance got a signed ball. that's right, those fifteen people went home really happy.

If it was a post game autograph session it woulda took longer to get showered and dressed then it would to send home every fan home w/ his herby hancock on a baseball

Thats ok because when Harden hits the FA market Billy Beane will be sittin in his office(that he happens to share w/ a janitor) pondering the title of his next book:D

Something to add.
Sanchez pitched the first no-hitter since Randy Johnson's perfect game in 04.

And that same Randy Johnson has a no hitter through 6 innings right now.

Seems like lately there have been a lot of no-no oppertunities that have fallen short. Nice to see someone finished the job.

Maybe the Cubs will get Anibal's manager...

But congrats to him!

If you had to pick a team to throw a no hitter against, you'd be hard pressed to find a better option than Arizona. Im lovin the downward spiral. Maybe they will get a decent pick again this year.

Would have been a fun game to watch. The Marlins are certainly the most exciting team in baseball right now. Hopefully they will keep their young players and not let them sign elsewhere when they become free agents.

Yeah, right. If anything, they'll trade them before then.

Great effort by Sanchez, but he'd better thank Willingham for making a heeluva catch in the 4th? (I think) inning.
