What were the futures we recieved from Nashville from the York deal? Or have we gotten any yet?

The futures were a pack of smokes and a bottle of wild turkey.

I think the futures were a pick or something that we got at the draft
maybe Saunders' pick?

Actually, didn't we give up a 4th and 5th rounder 2004 for Saunders?

yeah exactly. Murray thought we needed to get Saunders and was willing to give up two picks next year to do it.

Maybe Saunders will be worth it. He has 111 pims in only 24 games so far for Moncton.

As far as the Futures in the York trade, They didn't give us anything. We gave him to Nashville for Free no questions asked, just take him off our hands...and thus we have no draft pick or anything else from this.

Oh yes, but I thought it was contingent on York winning the Norris trophy.

Well hey, at least we didn't get screwed over. At least we got something out of it.

We actually got more than you guys think. Bryan Murray received as follows:

Two tickets to the Grand 'Ol Opry
A bottle of Jack Daniels
Some pocket lint, as well as $1.37 in change

Murray was also pushing for a Karlis Skrastins autographed Pedator's jersey, but Poile wouldn't budge. He counter offerered a Preds third jersey with Skrastins name on it, but Murray just left there.
