I cant believe what i just saw on Baseball Tonight. Steve Phillips says Morneau should eb MVP and Kruk and Brantley just laugh at him coming up with all this BS stuff. Brantley says Morneau is not clutch which is just plain stupid hes been nothing but Clutch, if leading the league in 2 out RBIs isnt clutch then i dont know what is. Then he bring up something last year about how Morneau was sitting out becasue of a hedache, well that Headache was caused by getting hit in the head from a Ron Villone 95 MPH fastball, I think he confused Concussion with headache. Then after Phillips tells tehm What Morneau has done in the wins for the Twins Kruk says well what has he done in the losses. WOW probably the stupidest question ever.
A couple clutch thing Morneau has done:
1. Afte santana gives up the lead in teh 8th Morneau hits a two run jack on a 99 MPH fastball off Zumaya probably one of the best relievers in the game.
2. Joe Nathan blows his first save opp of the year to houston so the game goes into extra innings. The next inning Morneau jacks one to give the twins the lead and the game
3. He leads the league in 2 out RBIs
I refuse to watch that show at least until Gammons comes back.

Morneau did have a very good season. But he is not going to be the MVP, even though the race is wide open. If you are looking for a Twin to be MVP- Mauer and Santana are the better choices.

Well, we all know the MVP race comes down to who had the better stats in losses..... Probably one of the dumbest points brought up by Kruk in an arugment and that's saying something. I imagine Jeter has worse stats in loses than he does wins....just like almost every major league player. Usually good players play better in wins than loses.

I watched almost all of the twins games, Morneau is the teams MVP.
