He is said to have signed for my hometeam Krefeld of the DEL (Germany). I'm wondering why he is leaving St.Petersburg after such a short time (he has just signed for them in the summer break)?
His statistics in the last two seasons are at least average.
What has happended to him? He already played in Germany in 01/02 for Frankfurt and then he was one of the best players in our leauge.
So what about his skills now, is he still a top player?
Anyone out here who has seen him play in this or last season?

I know that when he played here in Edmonton, he got whiny when he wasn't treated like the star. If he was playing poorly and his ice time was cut, he sulked. If his play in St. Petersburg was only average, he probably wanted to go to a league where he could be the star guy again.
