Hi all,

I'm going to be in Vienna for two weeks around the begining of November, and since both Prague and Bratislava are relatively close, I was thinking of going to go see some hockey games. Any recommendations on who I should see play and where?

Whoops. Wrong board. Oh, well, if you know of any places that are only a few hours away by train where I could catch a good game, let me know!

hey
i'm living in vienna and would propose to visit the city of bratislava which is located in slovakia and go see a game of their club slovan bratislava. maybe against dukla trencin or so. if you want to go for longer train rides, go to prague. the czechs are really playing amazing hockey. not to far from the austrian border is the city of znojmo (havlat, elias, vokoun played there during the lockout).
check out: http://www.hokej.cz/ for infos about czech league games while u are in vienna.
you might also check out: www.vienna-capitals.at for austrian league club games of vienna's club. the level of play is not as high as in the czech republic or in slovakia, but its ok i'd say. couple of ex-nhlers (divis of the blues, todd elik...)
