San Jose @ Phoenix

This game concerns me a bit. San Jose always seems to play well against the Coyotes. Mike Ricci always seems to play a good game against the Coyotes because he plays chippy hockey and crashes the net. Our D always seems to be in trouble when it's his shift. However, with the Coyotes top players playing so well I'm inclined to predict a Coyotes win. I would expect Ference to play inspired hockey. Consider the prospect that if Taffe actually continued scoring and pushed his way onto the team, this team would have a lot of goalscoring on it. This team already seems to be able to score whenever needed. Anyhow, it's looking like this team can withstand some significant injuries too. I think this team will go over .500 now and stay in a playoff spot.

Ference should be back in the lineup for this game. I wonder how he will respond?

The Sharks announced today that both Alex Korolyuk and Wayne Primeau will not be joining the team on the 1-game trip to Phoenix, so the lines will be:

Damphousse / Marleau / Dimitrakos
Sturm / McCauley / Harvey
Thornton / Ricci / Cheechoo
Ekman / Rissmiller / Parker

... and most likely

Stuart / Hannan
Rathje / Davison
McLaren / Ehrhoff

Nabokov will be back in net after he missed two games with a groin injury.

The sharks will also be wearing their black jerseys at the request of the Coyotes.

saw some lowlights to tonights disaster......night off for the team or a lineup that just didn't work.
