Hey just thought you huys would like to know Tim brent was fantastic v.s. The russians in both the games they played. He was quite possibly the best all around player on both teams ( and there were some good players on that OHL team) His leadership was oozing out of him on the ice, and his team-mates sure seemed to feed off it in both games aswell. I think hes a shoe-in for the WJC tournament...And i would be surprised if he wears a letter either...They may give Dan Paille the "C" becaus ehes a returning player but my opinion TIm might have a shot at it...Do the Mighty Ducks have to sign him this year? If they do I think they should probably start the negotiations now...because his value looks like it will only go up! Go Anaheim!
P.s...I love the 3rd jerseys

The Ducks were considering signing him last year along with Lupul but decided to wait. I'm sure Bryan Murray is going to get Brent signed. The organization is very high on him.

So he was drafted in 2002, which means if he doesn't sign this year he goes back into the draft right???...I agree I think they won't let him go back in the draft! He would help the organization out! He'd sure look good in those new 3rd jersey's...but prolly not for 2 years...or do u think theres a chance he could step in sooner?

1chlfan: Thanks for bringing us up-to-speed on Tim Brent. As others have mentioned, the Ducks are very high on him and are quite aware of his leadership qualities. I think Bryan Murray is far too shrewd to let him slip away. Obviously, Brent's value is going up, so it might be a good idea for Murray to get on the stick.
