First it was Herb Brooks, then Dan Snyder and Dany Heatley. Now an auto accident tragedy has struck the hockey community again. Colorado College Asst. Coach and head of recruiting Norm Bazin was critically injured on Thursday night near Spokane, WA while on a recruiting trip.

Colorado College has issued a Press Release (http://www2.coloradocollege.edu/Athletics/Hockey/PressReleases/0304/112103.html) about this tragic incident.

Here's to hoping for a speedy recovery. Let's hold him and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Any update - Norm is a good guy we have got to know a bit over the past year.

Thanks. I hope he is recovering well.

The Tigers website is reporting that the Norm Bazin has been upgraded to satisfactory after undergoing a successful surgery. No time line yet as to when he will be out of the hospital, but at least he's past the critical stage.
