Not here to flame, but just wondering if he has lived up to expectations or are you disappointed in his play. As a Wing fan, I admit I have followed his play this year and am surprised at his lack of point production and especially his +/- rating. Sergei needs some consistency with linemates but every time I check his linemates, someone new is with him.

i for one am content with his play.. i would like him to step it up.. he is at least getting a little bit more comfortable with his new line of chistov and mac... i see him getting more points as teh games go on.. to me, it looks like he is the more aggressive of our guys shooting the puck more.. i just wish they would go in though.. :joker:

At the beginning of the season, he was one of our most consistent forwards. He's been floating a bit lately. But, he is still one of the top guys in scoring on the team (if not #1). I think he will step it up once he becomes more comfortable.

I expected more from him but think in time he will bring it. I am not a ducks fan but as a fan of the game I want to see him playing his best. He has 15 points and is -8. Not his usual effort and you have to think that things will change before too long.

So for the casual observer I would say that he needs to step it up. But I don't see him every night.

The whole team is kind of slumping offensively, and Fedorov really hasn't had steady linemates yet. His +/- isn't reflective of his defensive play though, which I think has been consistently excellent.

Not a Ducks fan but if I was I would be worried. Maybe not so much this season but with each passing year. If Feds is already floating in Year 1 of his bloated 5 year player option contract what will happen next year...or the year after that?

Some games feds looks great...other time he looks disinterested.

Whilst Im here some props for Rucchin...hes the Ducks best player IMO.

During my week off from college I went down to the Pond for the New Jersey game. Federov was great in this game. He had a two goal game of course, but he really did dominate this game. He was clearly the best player on the ice for either team. I think he can be the best player in the world some nights and invisible other nights. Its his choice really.

I think putting him w/Mac has made Mac a better player, I guess. The problem is with Chistov and his Jinx. Fedorov is doing OK in my book, although he's great in 1 night, and no where to be found, another. He's gotta be there every night. I know for a fact that he's been shooting, but he's gotta get himself open first and foremost.

Thanks for your input. A lot of the comments made are what Wing fans thought of Fedorov, takes nights off but when he is on he is on. The Joe is looking forward to greeting Sergei on Wed. Should be interesting to see what kind of greeting he receives

We're going to need him in Detroit if we are to have a prayer of winning.

Hopefully he doesn't get all weepy over the boos.
