Hi all, decided to make up a Game Day Thread for ya! :)
Good Luck tonight
Leafs center Joe Nieuwendyk sat out for the 11th time in 12 games because of back spasms but might see action against the Senators
Ed Belfour looks to continue his strong play and lead the Toronto Maple Leafs to a season-high fourth straight win in a Northeast division matchup with the struggling Ottawa Senators.

I say the Sens put it all together tonight and Hossa, Havlat, Varada and Alfredsson each score. I say Sens 4-0.
I don't know if Tucker will get spit on again tonight but I heard he definitely swallows.
I don't know what to think...
I feel pretty good about the Sens right now. I saw a lot of positives in the Vancouver game even with the loss. However...there are a lot of people who are upset with the Sens. Shattered expectations is the best way to describe it I suppose.
The Leafs are playing well. I think the outcome tonight is anyone's guess. 50-50. I'm pretty sure the Sens are gonna take it to the Leafs in a major way. This is going to be another great contest. I hope my guys leave the building as victors. Go Sens Go....

If the sens score the first goal, they will win by 4 or 5 goals, but if the leafs score first ( which is inevitable) this game would be really close or a tie.

Seems like your prediction came true, if not quite in the manner you likely hoped.
Leafs scored first, and won 2-1.

Lazy players not initiating for the first period cost them the goal and once again Sens are battling from a 1-0 deficit early. You can see these guys can turn it on when they want, but this is getting ridiculous. They've been playing with such incosistent emotion and urgency. This is getting quite pathetic, yes.

Was it just me, or was that one of the most emotion-less Ottawa/Toronto games? I actually fell asleep during the 3rd period, so I'm not sure if I missed anything.

Not to hard to predict the outcome of sens games nowadays...0-9 in one goal games, atleast they are being consistent.
Eventually, the sens would go on a 5 game win streak or so and find themselves in the playoff picture.
