The supposedly struggling, demoralized Wild are outskating us and outhitting us and pretty much out-everythinging us. Nice bite on the fake, Jiggy.

The fedorov line looked good there....forcing the wild to take a penalty.

Look on the bright side. We're getting our idiotic ten minutes a night out of the way early. So we're sure to play better later in the game.

Okay, fifteen minutes. We're saving up for the Detroit game.

What's with all the Anaheim slashing going on. I noticed this the past few weeks. They have been slashing alot and fortunately getting away with them.

OTOH, Minnesota players are diving like crazy tonight. Horrible officiating once again.

Go Ozo!

I fell asleep. I'm not kidding.

There's drool in my beard.

Um...yay Ozo?

Fedorov looks pretty good out there today. To bad the rest of the guys haven't showed up yet or got lost at the concession stand. Havelid is looking rather horrible game by game. The guy needs to sit.

I think Nic has looked okay out there. He's been aggressive in taking out players in the slot.

Now I have a mental image of Kariya with a Pinocchio nose and a drool-saturated beard. Thanks, Booger.

Sammy shooting the puck is like Sauer fighting. It just should not happen. Three shots on one shift. I say "shots" and not "shots on goal" because none of them came anywhere near the net.

It's like two magnets that are charged differently. The puck does whatever it can to get away from the opposing net. I'm waiting for his slapshot with a wide-open net that inexplicably flies the opposite way. I know it's coming.

were gonna have a powerplay with just above 3 minutes to go, lets hope they can make it count.

this powerplay could be our last chance

Playing the Wild is like skating through quicksand. They're living proof the "crackdown" is over.

Woohoo! Another point! Unless we win, this is the crappiest streak ever!

Another piss poor effort by the Ducks.

Another tie by the Ducks.

Maybe if the team put in a honest day's work once in a while, we can get some wins.

Honestly, I didn't think it was that bad, guys. We were lucky to get the point, as we dodged several bullets throughout the game, but the team never gave up. The effort was there.

Don't judge the team by the record. Minnesota played very well tonight, and I'm sure they're kicking themselves for not getting two. I think they would have beat 75% of the teams in the league with tonight's performance. I think it was as good a game as we've played on this streak, keeping in mind that we seem to have gone brain-dead for stretches at a time in EVERY game.

I honestly think we're on the verge of turning the corner. I hope Babs keeps these line combos together. I see chemistry developing on all of them. And I rarely make predictions, but I have good feelings about Columbus and Detroit right now.

Look on the bright side. We're RIGHT there. We can't finish anybody, but nobody can finish us either, right?

it was a boring game ill tell you that...we should of won that game 1-0..that was a bad goal by giguere,i duno what he was doing...fedorov looked good IMO and johnson had some jumped as well and i thought we did really well on cycling the puck along the boards and creating that goal

I don't think it was a very good effort at all. The 3rd period was great - a nice change from the recent trend - but overall I thought we were getting beaten badly to every single loose puck. I mean it wasn't even close.

The Pahlsson line still looks good and Fedorov played a good game, so it's not like there was no offensive pressure. But the power play is letting us down.

This team needs to get blown out, 6 or 7 to nothing before they start really playing. I think as long as they keep getting rewarded for these incomplete efforts they're going to remain complacent.

2035 I have a hard time blaming Giguere for the tie; he made some amazing stops on breakaways, and on shots that normally would have created huge rebounds or been in the net. He did look bad on the Walz goal, but you can still reasonably expect to win when you only allow one goal.

oh yeah he was great after the first goal and making key saves but i was just saying what was he thinking on the first goal..he denied gabs again on the breakaway just like in the playoffs but afther the first goal,he was great..

I set up the VCR to tape the game. But I set the channel to ESPN2 rather than channel 9. Stupid digital cable guide!

Why doesn't he shoot when in the slot with a screen? Oh, McDonald is over by the side of the net! :)

Havelid is stinking it up, but he's not the only one making these 'cutsie' passes. There are 5 of them a game.

SHOOT THE PUCK!!! WHEN YOU'VE GOT THE PUCK IN THE SLOT SHOOT!!! There, I hope everyone heard that.

Fedorov is finally (the last handfull of games) where he needs to be. So is Giguere.

By the way, is there a reason I saw so much 4th line tonight?

First time Craig Johnson played well enough to justify a spot in the lineup.

LA Times:

Giguere shut out the Wild in the first three playoff games — two in Minnesota — in the West finals, but Wes Walz's wraparound at 2:10 of the first period Sunday ended his shutout streak in Minnesota at 207 minutes 29 seconds over five games, including playoffs. Walz took a pass from Antti Laaksonen and faked a shot before skating around and tucking it inside the left post.

"He's got enough equipment on for two goalies," Walz told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "No wonder he couldn't get over."

What a loser. I lost total respect for the guy.

The 4th line played pretty well I thought, and I've been thinking that we need more mileage out of our 4th line.

Plus we're in a 3 games in 4 nights stretch right now.
