I wasn't planning on the Coyotes passing the Kings this year, and if I recall, isn't Straka a UFA at the end of the year?

Straka is only 28 years old and can't be a free agent unless he is not offered a 10% or more raise.

With the amount of injuries the Kings have they are not stronger with Straka in their line-up. Now what the Kings get back those injured players they will be deep, but as PhoPhan already said, I did not expect to be better then the Kings anyway ... so the Kings beating the other Pacific Division and Western Conference foes the better for us.

It was reported that Straka is signed through the 2004-2005 season around $5 million a year or slightly less. Basically just one more year after his current.

You are right. It is Strbak who is 28 ... shoulda read the article more closely ... or players should spell their names more differently. :D
