Dr.Funk 12-25-2006, 10:06 AM *cues Jealous Knicks fan* Live in the Now 12-25-2006, 12:19 PM They have a good shot of winning the Atlantic. Next year they'll make the playoffs regardless of whether they win the division or not. TJ Ford was a good pickup, and Bargnani is coming along a LOT faster than anyone thought he would. Ubiquitin 12-25-2006, 01:38 PM Thanks for creating this thread, I would've created an official raptors thread if not. I think the Raps win the crappy Atlantic this year as well, making the playoffs. This team is solid even without Bosh and yes Colangelo has done an absolutely amazing job. Paker, Fred Jones and Bargnani will only get better though I figure Bosh coming back will mean less chances for them to do so. Rasho knows his place and does his job alright, while Garbo is getting more and more comfortable with his mid-long range shot, rookie of the year anyone? Either way, the rookie will come from the Raps. Bourque7799 12-26-2006, 08:40 AM TJ Ford has been playing awesome this year, he'll be a great PG for them in the future. Plus Bosh averaging a double double every game when he's healthy, they have great potential. vancityluongo 12-27-2006, 05:34 PM Raptors are awesome. Ubiquitin 12-28-2006, 10:42 AM After last nights game I'm convinced the Raps have so much upside and will only get better and better, on the other hand, they're winning the division with a below .500 record, haha. oilworker94 12-28-2006, 05:55 PM Last game was amazing, parker is the man! Bring Back Krajicek* 12-28-2006, 08:16 PM They're a fun team to watch, really hard-working. And they're playing great without Bosh. In this weak of a division, if they keep up their play, they'll be in the playoffs for sure. The Man in White 12-28-2006, 09:28 PM Last game was amazing, parker is the man! He almost blew it though. Dr.Funk 12-28-2006, 10:01 PM He almost blew it though. He is our best free throw shooter and I wouldn't have wanted anybody else at the line. Everybody misses once in a while. IMO Parker has been our most consistent player all season. The Man in White 12-28-2006, 11:52 PM He is our best free throw shooter and I wouldn't have wanted anybody else at the line. Everybody misses once in a while. IMO Parker has been our most consistent player all season. Oh yeah for sure. He was great in the game and I'm not critisizing. I'm just saying there would have been one less T.V. in the household had we lost. ;) Luc 12-28-2006, 11:56 PM I love to see what Calderon brings to every game. Character, leadership, and passion for the game. Porn* 12-29-2006, 12:43 PM assuming the rumours are true and peterson is on the way out... who cuold we get in return and should he be moved? Dr.Funk 12-29-2006, 01:16 PM assuming the rumours are true and peterson is on the way out... who cuold we get in return and should he be moved? Rumours have New Orleans interested with Peja and now Chris Paul out for extended period of time. I posted this on another board this morning. Peterson, Nesterovic and Humphries for Desmond Mason, Marc Jackson and Brandon Bass. Jaysfanatic* 12-29-2006, 01:19 PM Peterson for Maggette Dr.Funk 12-29-2006, 01:21 PM Peterson for Maggette Peterson wouldn't be enough and I don't want Maggette. Jaysfanatic* 12-29-2006, 01:44 PM i'm a little hesitant to move nesto... he's been great so far. I don't want to move Rasho either. How about MoPete for Carmelo, the Nuggets don't need him anymore they have A.I. haha. Dr.Funk 12-29-2006, 01:58 PM I'm exrememly pleased with what Rasho has been doing for us, but face facts here he is nothing special and is getting minutes with Bosh out. Plus his contract is an albatross for the player he is. By doing this it would allow us to still get Bargnani a lot of minutes when Bosh comes back. And if we are facing a big stiff then we can insert Mark Jackson. Plus all three of those players have expiring contracts which would give BC another sizable chunk of money to play with this coming offseason. Dr.Funk 12-29-2006, 02:25 PM interesting... i'm listening :biglaugh: sounds good... what are the chances of BC getting a 1st for peterson? Slim to none. If BC could get a 1st for Morris Peterson he should be named Exec. of the year for the next 5 years. Jaysfanatic* 12-29-2006, 08:58 PM Any Bulls fans around here? I hate you guys. Hawkalyzer 12-29-2006, 09:19 PM I hate you too Jaysfanatic* 12-29-2006, 09:46 PM I hate you too Good, I'm glad, but I hate you more, I guess it evens out though, we beat you guys 16 in a row, you beat us the next 15. The Man in White 12-29-2006, 10:29 PM Good, I'm glad, but I hate you more, I guess it evens out though, we beat you guys 16 in a row, you beat us the next 15. It makes no sense. I remember when they still had Jordan, we used to beat them every game. He leaves and we start losing. ***? :banghead: chaosrevolver 12-30-2006, 03:47 PM Thanks guys for your opinion. XX 01-03-2007, 08:40 PM Like the young Raptors, especially Bosh. But they just got beat by Nash single handedly. chaosrevolver 01-03-2007, 08:52 PM in the 4th quarter. Still a great effort by the Raps who were missing 2 of their best players, in Ford and Garbajosa Dr.Funk 01-03-2007, 11:09 PM Like the young Raptors, especially Bosh. But they just got beat by Nash single handedly. Actually they got beat by stupididty. With 3.8 seconds left they still had a timeout left and for some ****ing reason they didn't use it and Derrick Martin proceeded to chuck up the worst shot since Chris Childs. BleedingOil 01-04-2007, 04:36 PM Like the young Raptors, especially Bosh. But they just got beat by Nash single handedly. You obviously didn't watch the game. The Raptors held Nash to one of his worst games this year.(Not a bad game just not a good one) chaosrevolver 01-04-2007, 07:54 PM someone tells me they had a TO someone told me they didnt, did they or did they not? Dr.Funk 01-04-2007, 08:30 PM someone tells me they had a TO someone told me they didnt, did they or did they not? By the sounds of things saying we had a time out remaining was an error by the Raptors production crew in acctuality we didn't have one. OvechWhoo 01-13-2007, 10:59 PM assuming the rumours are true and peterson is on the way out... who cuold we get in return and should he be moved? There is a rumor going around that Peterson would go to Detroit for Flip Murray (who would fit perfect) and Dale Davis. Now, if this was true, Mo Pete would be missed, but the Raps would get the type of slashing/ scoring guard that they need so bad.. (Freddy Jones doesn't count, he hasn't done anything) Fish on The Sand 01-14-2007, 06:44 AM I think we will have a shot at the finals in a few years. C: Garbajosa PF: Bosh SF: Bargnani SG: ?
