The Toronto Raptors

I would like some not Raptors fans to give me their impressions about the Toronto Raptors, and what Brian Colangelo has done with the team.

*cues Jealous Knicks fan*

They have a good shot of winning the Atlantic. Next year they'll make the playoffs regardless of whether they win the division or not.

TJ Ford was a good pickup, and Bargnani is coming along a LOT faster than anyone thought he would.

I think the Raps win the crappy Atlantic this year as well, making the playoffs. This team is solid even without Bosh and yes Colangelo has done an absolutely amazing job. Paker, Fred Jones and Bargnani will only get better though I figure Bosh coming back will mean less chances for them to do so. Rasho knows his place and does his job alright, while Garbo is getting more and more comfortable with his mid-long range shot, rookie of the year anyone?

Either way, the rookie will come from the Raps.

TJ Ford has been playing awesome this year, he'll be a great PG for them in the future. Plus Bosh averaging a double double every game when he's healthy, they have great potential.

Raptors are awesome.

After last nights game I'm convinced the Raps have so much upside and will only get better and better, on the other hand, they're winning the division with a below .500 record, haha.

They're a fun team to watch, really hard-working. And they're playing great without Bosh. In this weak of a division, if they keep up their play, they'll be in the playoffs for sure.

He is our best free throw shooter and I wouldn't have wanted anybody else at the line. Everybody misses once in a while. IMO Parker has been our most consistent player all season.

Oh yeah for sure. He was great in the game and I'm not critisizing. I'm just saying there would have been one less T.V. in the household had we lost. ;)

I love to see what Calderon brings to every game. Character, leadership, and passion for the game.

I don't want to move Rasho either. How about MoPete for Carmelo, the Nuggets don't need him anymore they have A.I. haha.

I'm exrememly pleased with what Rasho has been doing for us, but face facts here he is nothing special and is getting minutes with Bosh out. Plus his contract is an albatross for the player he is. By doing this it would allow us to still get Bargnani a lot of minutes when Bosh comes back. And if we are facing a big stiff then we can insert Mark Jackson.

Plus all three of those players have expiring contracts which would give BC another sizable chunk of money to play with this coming offseason.

Bargnani isn't and won't ever be a SF in the NBA. Bryan Colangelo has said that Bargnani is going to be a center.

You obviously didn't watch the game. The Raptors held Nash to one of his worst games this year.(Not a bad game just not a good one)

There is a rumor going around that Peterson would go to Detroit for Flip Murray (who would fit perfect) and Dale Davis. Now, if this was true, Mo Pete would be missed, but the Raps would get the type of slashing/ scoring guard that they need so bad.. (Freddy Jones doesn't count, he hasn't done anything)

you guys play in the east, you have a shot at the finals almost every year. Seriously, the top team in the east would barely be a playoff team in the west. Anybody in the east can not only make the playoffs, but go on a run and reach the finals where they will inevitably get blown away.
