If it was Doug Christie, I wouldn't have been surprised...that being said, seeing it was Kidd, I'm not all that shocked either.

the irony. That being said, he's probably one of the top 5 all time at his position. A strong arguement could be made for being the best ever. Even going beyond his positional ranking, he is one of the most well balanced players to ever take the court.

Couldn't agree more. But I do disagree with everyone sitting here calling him a wimp and a *****. Thats just ignorant. It seems as though his wife has some legit head problems and being the male, he cant do anything physically back or otherwise, she wins in the end. He's taking the smart route in dealing with this problem, with today's society I'm surprised most of you aren't respecting that. :shakehead

If a girl hits you, you're legally entitled to slug him back, she was making his life hell, and abusing him, there's a point where you say, hey, this **** has got to stop and you beat some sense into her.

No, you dont beat some sense into her, you do exactly what hes doing. Prove that shes psycho, get a divorce and she gets no assets. She is an un-fit mother and Jason gets custody. This proves that Jason has settled down since the last incident and is doing what is in the best interest for him and his son. For you to just sit there and say how he should just kick her *** is a clear cut example of why you probably wont ever have a girlfriend.

While it is fun to crack joes about, he's in a no-win situation. She attacks him and he's a wuss, but if he so much as lays a hand on her he's labeled a disgusting wife-beater, at which point he can say goodbye to a big chunk of his money, and most importantly, his kids.

While we'll all call him a sissy for it, the best thing he can do is just take it, then go to court and show that the majority of the time he never attacked her.
