hehe did you guys see his "wag of the finger" after he made that block a couple of games back? I tried looking for the video but couldn't find, i dont know if its me or what but i find it hilarious haha . The funny part isn't the block moreso what he does after it. he holds the ball like its a baby and starts wagin the finger towards the crowd, his teammates grabs the ball and goes ahead and he starts waggin his finger and runs again hahah :biglaugh:

Dikembe's all about the finger wag; he's done it for years. He's a beauty.

Man... I didn't know Dikembe was still playing. I haven't watched basketball since the mid 90s but he was one of my favorite players back in the day. How cool.

Youtubing it up.

Great video. I've always liked Mutombo. The finger-wag is great, but this clinches it for me (from Wikipedia):

Mutombo is attributed with coining the phrase, "Who wants to sex Mutombo?" while seated at the bar near the entrance to The Tombs, Georgetown's famous student bar, which he allegedly developed as a pick-up line during his Georgetown days. The phrase has achieved cult status among basketball fans of both genders, though there is no evidence he ever said it and it is likely an urban legend.

Hahahaha. With Mutombo's bellowing voice, I can see that being the funniest thing ever.

Well he just passed Kareem for #2 all time in blocks so that makes me a little sad.

...but the finger wag is amusing I must say.

I wonder if "The Air Up There" was based on Dikembe

Ha they even made a rule just for him. He can't swag at players but he can at the crowd.

Biggest mistake the Nuggets ever made letting him walk. And the compitition could hardly be stiffer.

Wouldnt it be cool if Marty would take his blocker off and wag at opposing players after a nice save?

I love mutombo, but i love when Dikembe Mutombo boasted that Jordan had never dunked on him during his career. The next game, Game 5 of the 1997 playoffs, Jordan made a point to throw one down over Mutombo. After the dunk he wagged his finger at Mutombo as Mutombo would do after he blocked someone's shot. He was T-ed up for the taunting.
