I know Shelley is still amonst the league leaders in fights but why are his fighting majors and stats down quite a bit from last year????

He's not fighting as much. :D

I just checked the #'s. He has 11 fights in 23 games.

Last year he had 27 fights total.

Looks to me like he is fighting more.

MacLean's got him on more of a leash. Not sure why. I mean, except for a few guys, nobody else is scoring much, either. At least the guy brings a little livelyness to the table, ya know?

He's actually trying to play hockey out there instead of trolling for fights with skates on. He's grown a lot as a player since last season. Don't get me wrong, he's got more to do before he gets compared to Probert in his heyday!

I like Jody and hope for CBJ sake he had the flu last night. Playing Ling over Jody is a problem. We already have size issues. Hopefully Jody is back soon and plays smarter.
