New Slovakian defenseman to Luleå

Luleå has signed Jaroslav Obsut, 27-year old defenseman recently with Manitoba in the AHL.

I hope this will not affect Johan Fransson's ice-time.

Luleå now have 9 defencemen - but with Petter Nilsson out and Skrbek getting weird game misconducts it's seems ok to pick up another one

The game miscounduct on Skrbek yesterday was wrong. It was T Berglund who should have got it.

Milos family left for Slovakia a couple of weeks ago and I dont think that Milo will end this season with MODO.

What is Valach doing in SSK anyway? Helping out their J20 team or what? ;)

i've seen Obsut a few times in the AHL (with Worcester and Hershey if i remember correctly). a solid pick-up, IMO, by Lulea. could put up some decent numbers.

Pretty much yes.

Stanislavs uncle is Tibor Gregor (the swedish hockey federation), it was he who arranged for Stani to play for SSK.

Vancouver hasn´t released him yet, Jaroslav and Luleå have reached an agreement however. Luleå Bears expect to have Obsut in the lineup by thursday.

he's playing tonight as well. maybe they need him for the week-end when the AHL teams normally play 2-3 games.
