Man, duckfans, you better get used to the team sucking @%*&$ like they did every year before last. Giggy proves again that you cant give a player too much money at once. Even if he had held out, the team should have played it strict.

Whats up with the ducks, they cant score or hold the other team from scoring less than 6 goals.

The Ducks are going through a tough stretch. Guys like Carney and Havelid haven't been as reliable as usual. The same goes for goaltending. But is it time to hit the panic button and call them a fluke? Its way too early. We still have 50+ games to go.

The Ducks are a quality hockey team, I don't see them as a fluke.

I thought Fedorov would fit better than Kariya, because he plays a great defensive game.

Maybe the chemistry hasn't arrived or the Ducks are just having a tough go of it, but I wouldn't call them a fluke.

I still think we will be 6th-8th in west. If were around .500 when Leclerc gets back then we will be in good shape. Hopefully Bryan Murray doesn't make a stupid trade and give up Lupul or something.

I guess the missing link is chemistry. The Ducks have more talent on board than last year. But a complete restructuring of the top six within a half year can't go by a team without some problems.

Another trade for a top-sixer (Comrie) won't help, but cause more problems. It would make the team deeper, perhapes Lupul or Chistov finds himself in the AHL and another one is gone.

I'd stick with that roster, wait for Leclerc's return and let them develop some chemistry without any pressure.
