Who will be better Jeff Cowan or JP Vigier , for points this year and in the future for my fantasy team? Who do they ply with and will they continue to get ice time?

Vigier is probably the better bet considering he plays with Kovalchuk and Kozlov and gets some time on the PP.
Cowan plays with Petrovicky and Stefan.

Why is it a choice between only these two guys? I wouldn't pick up either one for my team. How deep is this league?

I would go with Cowan. He is starting to use his size in front of the net, as in that nifty goal he scored last night. The Thrashers do not have many big forwards who mix it up in the crease.
