Duane Harmer

Hi!
All you norwegian hockeyfans out there- what can you tell me about Duane Harmer (he´s spending the rest of the season in Skellefteå AIK, Sweden)??

I remember watching him play for the Guelph Storm way back when. He was one of the originals I think. I may still have an auto'd card of him I got from waiting around when I was 10

He captained my local team in Norway, Trondheim Black Panthers this season, until he left for Sweden after the team failed to pay the players their salary in time. Decent skater, good passer, hard shot, PP QB, class guy. Good friend of Sharks' Mark Bell, and even managed to get him over here during the lock out.

He should do well in Sweden.

I have been following Duane for about 5 yrs now and he is a very solid stay at home defenseman. I haven't seen him play in a couple of years, but when watching the videos online from last year (he played in Germany) he played the point well and has a good shot.
