CharlieGirl 12-08-2003, 11:23 AM London/Kitchener of course! :D Truthfully, as long as it's a community that supports junior hockey all the time, I'll be fine with the selection. incawg 12-08-2003, 11:26 AM The WJC has never been west of Alberta. It's high time (no pun intended) it come to B.C. The Vancouver/Kelowna/Kamloops bid should get it. With the Olympics also coming, the region is going to be hosting quite a few international events to practice in the coming years. BCCHL inactive 12-11-2003, 04:20 PM I will go with Vancouver. Not only because of my British Columbian bias (;) ), but also because I think it will be a great pre-Olympic event. I'm not sure how involved Kamloops and Kelowna would be, being that they are both at least a 3-hour drive away, but Victoria could see some games in their brand new 7,500-seat arena, and even Nanaimo has a 2,500+ seater that could see some of the lesser-known teams play there. hockey_in_hel* 04-08-2004, 09:11 PM Yay!!! Vancouver get it!!!!!! two out of three* 04-08-2004, 10:19 PM Edmonton should host. BCCHL inactive 04-09-2004, 03:30 AM Edmonton should host. Too late. The 2006 tournament was awarded to Vancouver a couple months ago. berney fkaj 04-18-2004, 06:50 AM Vancouver | ||
