Sounds like a much needed physical force. Unfortunately, every time we see a good hard check, we seem to see a penalty. Like tonight's absolutely ridiculous boarding penalty on Kubina resulting fron Rat-boy Bates turning into Kubina and getting ran over.

Bettman must have already signed a contract with a family member's company to manufacture lace trimmed tutus for all NHL teams. Sickens me. Well, maybe not tutus, but a new penalty for being a big old meanie. Or women's rules with no checking.

I've never seen a guy with so many interpretations of how to spell his name in my life.

Alex Riazantsev. Every year he played for the bears it was changed. First: Ryazantsev then Riazantsev and then back to Ryazantsev. The boy has some issues.

I'm not sure why the coach is trying to defend a hit that was, by all acounts, dirty.

Not to be rude, but I just don't find someone with an M.A. Fleury avatar to be the most objective source, nor do I expect a crowd of them to be.

That's interesting, because in my research on the incident, the vast majority of accounts indicated otherwise.
