I was a fan of the Lakers as a kid. DJ was a guy I hated to watch. That sucks big time.

I echo that 100%. HATED DJ, which meant he was a quality, quality player.

.....when the players I grew up watching are dying....does that make me old?

I felt the same way about him, hated him, but damn he was good.

Shame that he died kinda young, but he lived more of a life than most, i'd take that anyday. RIP.
