Considering the available players, which ones need more playing time?
Hull and Draper come to mind.
Initially I thought of Datsyuk but I don't think his body can take much more. He's not too far down the list of center man's ice time right now anyway.

I'd have to say Maltby...but they all are gonna have to step it up like never before.

With Chelios going down, the guy who has to step it up big time is Fischer. He's been getting around 20 mins a night, but it's time to bump that up to 23-25.
Up front...who's left? I think Miller will recieve quite a bit of ice time simply because he's a vet and Lewis will have a good diea of what he's going to get with him on the ice. Mowers has earned extra ice. after that...I think it'll just be a case of going with the hot hand. Whoever looks the best on any given night will get the ice time.
I know that Pasha's time on the ice has definitely been kicked up...you usually don't see him doing that much penalty killing, but he's been out there doing a lot of that, and he was on the ice for almost 5 of the 6 miinutes of power play time the other night.
I'd like to see more of Bootland/Williams/whomever, and of course, Drapes and Malts have been absolute troopers.
2-1 at the end of the second...oh man, can we hold it?

I'd like to see Bootland bumped up from 6-7 minutes a night to about 10-11. That'd increase the rate at which he develops.
Fischer needs at least 20 minutes MINIMUM per night. There were some nights where Fischer was getting only a minute more ice than Wooley while Chelios went on to play 25 minutes or more, and that's just ridiculous.
