Anyone else see this sick injury he just had? Its on sportsnet...He went for the layup and when he landed his leg bent 90 degress. His knee cap absolutely blew up. It was gut wrentching.

I heard about it. Tough luck for the kid, especially with his prior injury history. Hopefully he can recover because he has unbelievable potential.

I knew he was injury prone but this is amazing! It looks like when a race horse's leg gives out...just a "snap" and a tumble. Look over your shoulder Shaun, that trainer has a gun and a shovel.


Seriously though, I feel bad for the kid (and the Clippers who had such high hopes for him).

Man that is one of the most gruesome injuries I've ever seen. Maybe even worse than Theismann/L.T.

It's such a shame because this kid has so much potential and when he is actually healthy, he has played great..but that's the key. I'm wondering if he will ever be healthy enough to reach his full abilities.

What a crazy injury. Just tearing one is a serious injury. I hope its not career threatning, especially for a PG. His age is to his benefit.

I'm a PT and I was talking about this with one of my colleauges. The PCL tear is the one that is most troublesome. (Besides the fact that there's so many structures injured). Also the majority of ACL tears are "non-contact". I'm surprised it's not the MCL, as the ACL, medial meniscus and MCL are often injured together. The "terrible triad."

There was also a dislocated patella. And yes, it is career threatening. I wouldn't be surprised if he's never again the same player.
