Hopefully he can recover because he has unbelievable potential. took420s 02-27-2007, 11:33 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pk7_-FIlTw I knew he was injury prone but this is amazing! It looks like when a race horse's leg gives out...just a "snap" and a tumble. Look over your shoulder Shaun, that trainer has a gun and a shovel. Seriously though, I feel bad for the kid (and the Clippers who had such high hopes for him). caniacgirl12 02-28-2007, 10:05 AM I love how he is just hanging out on the stretcher....so unlike Wade crying like a baby over his shoulder. took420s 02-28-2007, 11:35 AM I love how he is just hanging out on the stretcher....so unlike Wade crying like a baby over his shoulder. Yep. danno2530 02-28-2007, 11:49 AM Man that is one of the most gruesome injuries I've ever seen. Maybe even worse than Theismann/L.T. It's such a shame because this kid has so much potential and when he is actually healthy, he has played great..but that's the key. I'm wondering if he will ever be healthy enough to reach his full abilities. Just tearing one is a serious injury. I hope its not career threatning, especially for a PG. His age is to his benefit. lux_interior 03-01-2007, 01:08 AM Shaun Livingston suffered tears to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), medial collateral ligament (MCL) and lateral meniscus, the Clippers announced Tuesday I'm a PT and I was talking about this with one of my colleauges. The PCL tear is the one that is most troublesome. (Besides the fact that there's so many structures injured). Also the majority of ACL tears are "non-contact". I'm surprised it's not the MCL, as the ACL, medial meniscus and MCL are often injured together. The "terrible triad." There was also a dislocated patella. And yes, it is career threatening. I wouldn't be surprised if he's never again the same player. SpeakerForTheDead 03-01-2007, 01:15 AM Wow. That just looks soo bad. I really hate to see this affect his career like it will. I have been a big fan of his since his drafting. :shakehead Tuggy 03-01-2007, 09:16 AM Wow, that was a nasty looking injury. BleedingOil 03-01-2007, 12:19 PM Couldn't believe it when I saw it. Ouch.... | ||
