Drozdetsky is in a great position right now. He is not a team's leader, nor is he the top go to forward regarding scoring. This allows him to skate around and score, while at the same time hides his defensive lapses. He has improved defensively under Vujtek, but has a LONG LONG way to go. However, his scoring has been on an up lately, though make no mistake, he is a supporting cast type player, and that role will not change for him. This isn't a bad thing, it just needs to be understood....so, from that perspective, his season is going above average.
