There's guys on the club, like Hyphens, that already have nicknames. Lets try to give some of our other guys names to go by.

I'll get the ball started here.

Danny 'Healthy Scratch' Fritsche

Since the announcers on FSN refer to Fred Brathwaites "cat- like" reflexes about every other sentence heres a couple to run by the group:

or my personal favorite ... Fumblin' Freddy Brathwaite.

On defense theres the dirtiest playing player on the team : Spot-check on aisle 3.

Wonder how eager he is to drop down for a shot block now.

Espen "Aaron Vickers" Knutsen -- he's leaving us for greener pastures.

Andre "Nielson 2.0" Nederost -- heralded youngin now leaving town pretty much as a failure. On the plus side, at least the guy's fully equiped south of the border, as far as anyone knows.

David "Socket Socker" Ling -- for busting Morris' eye socket last year.

"Streak" Sanderson -- when he's good, this could be a reference to his speed. when he's bad, its a reference to his frequent cold streaks.

Scott "Deceptively American" Lachance -- French-sounding name, you'd think he's Candaian, but born in Virginia, raised in USA. Also, last year, I think he was the only American on the roster.

And oldie but a goodie...

I'll follow John Kruk's example on the Best Damn Sports Show when Ron Tugnutt was a guest. He seemed to be able to laugh at himself whenever said Tug-nut.

Making fun of names - juvenile, but still in the general vicinity of "humor". I can understand that.

Making light of the loss of a testicle through a painful injury - what's funny about that? Do people call Berard "one eye"? Because it involves genitals you think it's amusing?

I don't know about everyone else here, but if I had lost a testicle through painful injury, I'm the type who probably would laugh about it. If it's gone, it's gone. No point in being sore about it. :p
