ahh...it's about time! Seriously tho, he belongs on someone's AHL roster, and I hope someone claims him so Jacques doesn't get tempted to call him back up. Darby served his purpose with us. He won faceoffs, scored that goal in the Cannucks series, told jokes in the lockerroom, gave the "uninformed" Wild fans someone to cheer for, etc. Maybe this is foreshadowing...lose one Minnesota boy and go and get another in maybe...Mark Parrish? :joker:

I rather see Ballard or Vanek here but that's wishful dreaming.

I bet we'll re-sign brian bonin to fill our local guy quota.

Don't we still have to move someone down or put them on waivers when Chouinard comes back? With Burns away at the Juniors we still have 24 players on the roster.

Anyone see Broten do the "let's play hockey" announcement at the X last spring? He looked like he's been skating...

Oh, Lord. Heaven-to-Betsy no. Anything but another Minnesotan other then the obligatory draft choice here and there. It's time to move up in the world and another local won't cut the mustard.
