Philly just traded Eric Chouinard for a 5th round draft choice from Minnessota. Eric is 6'5" 215 lb LW ... correct me if I am wrong but isn't that exactly what Ottawa is looking for? Are you telling me we couldn't haven't given up someone in the minors and future considerations or a draft choice for this big young guy? I imagine he would also be cheap.

What is Muckler waiting for exactly? Maybe Philly would not have traded with someone in their conference, I don't know. Minnessota has a few big tough left wingers in their depth chart, maybe we could trade for depth with them ... for maybe former 67 Matt Foy?

He was traded to Philly for a 2nd round pick because he couldn't crack the Smurf lineup in Montreal.

Then he was traded to Minnesota for a 5th rounder or whatever...hmmm...he sure sounds like he'd be needed here...

Risebrough: The only way you'll get Foy is from my cold dead fingers...

There is no way the Wild are going to trade Foy at this point. He just breaking into the AHL and has already had good chemistry with Bouchard.

the reason we trade dhim there was because we liked his work ethic and he deserved to play in a city that has room to give him good minutes. It wouldn't of happened in Philly nor would it have in Ottawa.

Unless Lemaire hates his guts and benches him for most of the games.
