Can't remember off the top of my head.

However, now that you bring him up, Todd White is a guy who hasnt taken nearly as much flak as he deserves so far this year. Too much of the blame is being placed elsewhere (lalime, martin, etc) but White has been just terrible. I'm guessing nobody is complaining because nobody is surprised.

Schaefer - White - Alfredsson

You can find out who's playing with who by using the shift charts at NHL.com

He's been a bit all over the place this year - but Martin seems to be trying a 3 C-RW combination system like he has had in past years, with the 3 being Bonk-Havlat, Spezza-Hossa, White-Alfredsson. From what I can see, Varada usually plays with Bonk-Havlat (Schastlivy played there on Saturday), Smoke with Spezza-Hossa, and Schaefer with White-Alfie. As per usual, though, the LW can be a bit of a revolving door with Martin (it will be interested when Fisher comes back).

I realize that White has had a slow start, but in fairness at least some of that has to be attributed to the fact that he's been asked to play C and LW, and has been moved everywhere from the top line to the 4th line. The same goes for Smoke, really. White's production has always been due to the fact that he had a stable role beside Alfredsson. Now that he's been returned there, I expect his production should increase at least a bit. That being said, I wouldn't expect to see him back to the 50-60pts land... his PP time has been cut from past years, and that was also a big part of his numbers.

He had a good game tonight and a nice goal to win it.

And what a way to break out of your funk too! Good job, Ottawa.

Would the Sens be willing to part with Todd White in a deal? With Spezza now a regular, it seems White isn't as important to this team as before. Also, what about Rachunek? I realize that with Volchenkov out, the Sens probably need Karel but would they consider dealing him either?
I would make a proposal from the Bruins for those two players but I'll save myself the scorn of Senator fans.

White would probably available. Ottawa would probably like to package him up tho to get something of better quality.

I wouldn't be surprised to see White dealt within a year.

I hope not. I realize his numbers are down from the last two seasons, but he does bring good defense and penalty killing to the team. On a team of poor face off men he's one of the better ones.

So, like I've been saying, I'm loving Todd's play lately.

Oh... I thought that you were complaining that not enough blame wasn't being passed his way lately?

Maybe i should have added a ' ;) ' or a ' :p ' to the last post..
Since I've posted he's had two good games, let's hope he keeps it up.
