i wonder why this question keeps coming up? is it possible that with the caps off to such a bad start that people look over the caps roster for late season salary dumps and those looking for a defenseman only recognize Gonchar and Witt?

It would take more than you would give up. Look at are blue line..you would have to give up a young D guy who could play close to witt's level and maybe a decent draft pic as well which I don't see Toronto ponying up.
