Stana!!

Rastislav (Rat) Stana is on a roll up in Portland. He earned his third shutout for the season tonight against Providence. He had 28 saves with his second shutout in three games. Way to go!!

Stana made a few huge saves but in truth he really wasn't tested often. I haven't been a huge fan of Army's system but this group of players has totally bought into his game plan and it is finally paying off. The D shut everything off and the center is just smothering anything down low. It is nice to see results...especially the frustration of the other teams. Stana certainly has gotten the benefit of some timely scoring too. At least the P's are working their way up the standings right now. 5 points out of third isn't too bad for the worst offense in the league. ;)

I guess I have to agree. I was just making a point that the past few games Stana has played great. His shutout on 12/21 was pretty good. He had 38 saves. I don't disagree with you as far as the offense goes. Portland isn't a great team, but thank goodness for good goalies!
