Has The Slump Begun?

One win in our last 4 games, and injuries galore.
On a positive note, the team (Warriner) was very upset about not beating Colorado. That's a big change from years past. As long as we can play .500 from here out, we should be fine.

Nope we're about to get some fire power back so I don't think so.

We've had difficulties beating Vancouver and Colorado all year, even when healthy. Why should this now be any different?

When we start losing to the dregs of the west - Edmonton and Minnesota, then I'll be worried.

I'm afraid this is a beginning of a losing streak. Hopefully it won't be a long one. If the Flames can beat the Canucks it will go a long way convincing me that this team is for real.

If you think about it, it was amazing that they we're able to stay in that game vs colorado with the lineup they had. But in reality, it wasnt. Because DS has this whole team playing at an extremely high level. With all the injured players coming back hopefully they will have a bit more scoring.

Abeischer looked totally dejected after the SH goal. That was the time to pounce. It wasn't as though there were a lack of opportunities. Guys were driving to the net.

Look at it this way, in most cases, they've been in the games against Vancouver & Colorado. The really critical point is to leave with two points against the expansion teams (Minnesota & Columbus). In previous seasons, the Flames would come up big against a Western powerhouse, then fall flat against the second division squads.

Getting Reinprecht and Conroy should help the Flames, they should be fine.

Conroy reaggrivated his knee, and is nowhere near ready.

Well at least we get to see how much heart this team really does have, should tell us alot tommorrow night. Here's hoping Iginla and the D can carry them, oh and McAmmond too I guess :D Glad they didn't trade him off for a pick right about now.

What's with all these injuries?
We just lost Kobasew for a week with a bad shoulder.
Hopefully they beat a tired Canucks team tonight.

Go Flames.

Well they didn't pull it out, but they didn't quit, I guess that's something to take out of it. However, they need a win next game, losing 3 is killer, this was a big game, it said alot, but if they revert back to hard-working losers thats even worse, but hey tough times hit, they need to push through.

Reinprecht is probably going to return to the lineup during this next road trip.

It's not a moment too soon, because we desperately need him to help the powerplay, not to mention a guy that can play the center position naturally.

Hopefully he can get on a roll with Iggy and get #12 back on track.
