DeathFromAbove asked at "Henrik Juntunen"-thread if someone would know anything about Tommi Hannus. Hannus plays now in the highest level in Finland (SM-Liiga) for Pelicans. For the last seasons he has played for several teams in the SM-Liiga and Mestis (second highest level). In Mestis he has been a top forward for a some time, but in SM-liiga he hasn't made his breaktrough. Hannus is a solid skater and his stickhandling is very good. The most he should improve his physicalstrenght. Hannus is quite complete package for the European hockey at least. In this season he has played better than ever scoring 8 goals and having 2 assists as well. Last 8 games he has been one of the best players in the miserable Pelicans team by scoring 4 goals.
NHL won't be current for him in at least for a couple of years. Most likely he will never make it to the NHL.
