Sydor or Spacek interest?

We CBJ fans are contemplating dumping players despite the fact that the team clearly is gelling well this year!
Is Tampa still seeking an offensive d-man? I think Sydor or Spacek could be attainable if anyone was interested.
That's why I'm bothering you fine folks.

Just a couple things: though I used the word "dumping" up top, Columbus really has no need to trade either one of these guys. This isn't a firesale. I'd like to see what you guys would be willing to offer, if anything at all.

I don't know the contracts exactly, but I know Sydor is on the hook for a few more years at more than $3-million. Spacek is below $2-million and will be a restricted free agent. Either might be easier to get than Hammerlik.

As with any building team -- prospects/picks are prefered.

I'm not sure what Columbus would be looking for (forward/defensmen prospects?) Maybe a guy like Svitov would interest you? He would look nice on a line with Zherdev maybe. 1st round pick? I'm not sure.

Svitov or Polushin would be good. Honestly, Columbus could use prospects everywhere (except G).
Polushin and a d prospect or pick would be acceptable I think.

Fair enough. Thanks for the feedback. I was just curious about what you think Sydor is worth. Honestly, I don't think Columbus will be trading him, but his name keeps poping up on HF boards lately.
