We CBJ fans are contemplating dumping players despite the fact that the team clearly is gelling well this year!
Is Tampa still seeking an offensive d-man? I think Sydor or Spacek could be attainable if anyone was interested.
That's why I'm bothering you fine folks.
Just a couple things: though I used the word "dumping" up top, Columbus really has no need to trade either one of these guys. This isn't a firesale. I'd like to see what you guys would be willing to offer, if anything at all.
I don't know the contracts exactly, but I know Sydor is on the hook for a few more years at more than $3-million. Spacek is below $2-million and will be a restricted free agent. Either might be easier to get than Hammerlik.
As with any building team -- prospects/picks are prefered.
