Excellent. Our good friend "PEI Bolt" can keep an eye on him for us.

Boutin should be the #1 for PEI. Nolet (who was with Rimouski last year - horrid numbers for a bad team) going to Halifax leaves Ryan Mior and his 17 games played to battle with Boutin. Mior's numbers: 17 GP, 8-5-1, 2.77gaa, .886 sv%.

PEI is currently 3rd in the division, 24-13-3.
Halifax is last in the division at 12-24-4.

Both teams will probably benefit. Two skaters also exchanged and some picks coming to Halifax.

I haven't seen them this year, but I know over the past few seasons the Rocket has tended to be a team which works a lot harder defensively than most OMJHL teams, so hopefully they can rally around Jonathan and help him establish some confidence.

There's nothing wrong with Jon physically/technically, so if he gets his focus back and starts feeling better about himself he's capable of going real far.

I agree with ya Pete :)

Halifax plays a trapping style, but we still give up like 35 shots a game. Alain Vigneult is working wonders with PEI defensivly.

Mior is still 16, and is one of the best 1987 born goalies in the world. I think they will split for now, and whoever plays better will be the #1.

Boutin with a 29-save shutout in his first start for PEI. :handclap: :handclap: :handclap:

In other CHL news, Egener gets a misconduct for giving the ref the finger... caught on the big screen.

Egener gains points with Chad. Dumb penalty, but hilarious.

I'm telling you, that guy's going to be a fan favorite here in Tampa. He combines Enrico Ciccone's attitude with Cory Sarich's physical skills.
