Think it's a good idea.

Hopefully he will add a little offence to this line up!

that's what was reported tonight along with the claim of D Todd Rohloff from Columbus, Marshall.

We could use Suts because Parsons got a puck in the chops Wednesday night and won't play this weekend.

Portland could use Sutherby's offense. 16 shots last night and 4 of them were clearing/icings that got close enough to the crease for Hauser to play. As good as Max played the rest of the team should be pulling the splinters out of the ***** for sitting on it so long.

The team looked alot like the team that was playing before Max got called up last night. Its pretty scary when Brad Parsons gets scratched and the team misses him. I hate the Anglestad-Whoever-Stroshein line when its on the ice. Max played pretty well, but he was pretty lucky also. The hockey gods tried to give him a win, but his teammates still need to learn how to clear the crease. Within 4 minutes of time, almost 59 minutes of shutout went to waste and a loss. at least I got my Max bobblehead :shakehead

Couple of questions:

When is Fussey going to show the scoring touch?
Will Yeats go bald before he sees a game?
Will the Brochu be in net tonight so that the pirates can induct their past goaltender into the hall of fame while he's playing against them?

tune in tomorrow....

Don't get me going on Brochu...
I always like Brochu but Hall of Fame status while he’s playing for another AHL team? WTF??? How about Gonchar? An NHL All Star D-man can't get in but a career minor leaguer can? I'd hope that the memory of Portland fans aren't so short that a career minor league goalie who had a couple decent seasons in Portland is more worthy then the most dynamic scoring D-man in the NHL.
