He has some points in the last 5 games. Do you think he can continue like this for the rest of the year?

IF sputter doesnt stop him from doing otherwise, yes Teemu 01-11-2004, 02:02 PM he's been getting some real linemates recently, so provided it stays that way, yes Qubax 01-27-2004, 07:26 AM I though I'd add to this one rather then start a new Ruutu thread... But just noticed that he has 9 points in his last 14 games... I mean that's pretty good....SOme would say that's what we should expect over his career are numbers of about that magnitude. If that's the case, now that he's finally feeling 100 precent, maybe he's developing into more of an offensive player in the NHL>.. any thoughts....Does his play look different now that he's contributing a bit..? Thanks Wally112pac 01-27-2004, 05:30 PM Ruutu is playin a lot better. He's 1 of probably 3 guys on the team that can beat someone 1 on 1. They said he was on a line with Zhamnov and Calder in practise. Hopefully this will spark Calder who had his best year playin with Zhamnov. Teemu 01-27-2004, 10:20 PM One of the things no one took into account at the beginning of the season is that he had just recovered from knee surgery. healthy or not, youre as nervous as hell the first few weeks you start playing, and his production decline wasnt all that suprising. Now, he is playing with a lot more confidence than at the beginning of the season, and I think his numbers will continue to reflect this. | ||
